In the previous two articles, we introduced the accessories required for culture flasks and centrifuge tubes in incubator shaker. Today we will continue to share with you the accessories related to culture plate containers to help you choose accessories that are more suitable for your experimental needs.

Culture Plate

It is a common multi-channel experimental tool which is widely used in bacterial or cell culture. According to experimental requirements, the number of wells in the culture plate is 6 , 12 holes, 24, 48, 96 and other specifications. Its external dimensions conform to the SBS standard (about 128*86mm) which is convenient for general use in various experimental equipment.

Deep Well Plate

Based on the appearance dimensions of ordinary microplates (mainly 96- and 384-well plates), the depth of the wells is increased while the length and width are same in accordance with the SBS international standards, so as to achieve the purpose of increasing the volume of each well.

According to the number of wells, the more common ones can be divided into 96-well plates and 384-well plates.

According to the well type, the 96-well plate can be mainly divided into round well type and square well type. Among them, all 384-well plates are square well type.

According to the shape of the well bottom, the most common ones are U-type and V-type.

96-well plate clamp

Plate holders are available for single or partial loading of standard culture plates on a shaker platform.

Deep Well Plate Clamp

It is used when the entire shaking plate needs to be placed on the deep-well plate. It is suitable for use with WIS400, WIS400M and other series shakers. It can be clamped on the side and 21 deep-well plates can be tightened or loosened at the same time, which is very efficient.

Vent cover attachment

It can ventilate and reduce liquid evaporation, and is equipped with 24 wells and 96 wells.

The combined use of the vent cover and the deep-well plate clamp can make the vent cover and the culture plate fit more closely, ensuring that each well of the culture plate has only one small hole for ventilation, thereby minimizing evaporation.

Column Deep Well Plate Holder

The silicone tube on the aluminum column is clamped tightly, and a large number of culture plates can be placed. It is mainly used for high-speed incubator shakers, and can hold 60 culture plates (stacked in 3 layers) and 40 deep-well plates (stacked in 2 layers).

Deep-well Plate holder

The stacked culture plates are separated by 5mm for ventilation, so that the culture effects of the upper and lower culture plates are consistent. It is particularly suitable for stacking culture of two deep-well plates, with high space utilization, suitable for batch culture.

Double-layer deep well plate Holder

It can be installed as a whole board or partially. It is suitable for high-speed shakers as well as other shakers. The quantity can be flexibly configured, and there is ventilation between the upper and lower layers.
